My screen is messed up.

Resetting it fixed the problem but when I tried to turn on 4K it got messed up again. My tv says it’s supposed to support 4K at 60hz.

I did not get any results from power cycling it, but I did manage to find out that when I have my resolution set on 720p instead of 4K I can see the screen well enough that I can read text, but it is still messed up and the colors are off.

There's a possibility that it may be a hardware issue. But we have to further isolate it by trying some troubleshooting steps to try to fix that.

May I know if you've already tried some steps?

First, try to power cycle your console. Press and hold the Xbox power button for 10 sec until it turns off. Unplug it from the power source for few minutes. Plug it back in and turn it on again.

If you have a different HDMI cable, please try to use it. You may as well try to use the other HDMI IN port on your TV. To further isolate it, connect your console to a different TV if possible.

Thank you for the additional information. I just want to confirm, your console worked fine in 4K using that same TV before? If so, it may be a cable issue. Try a different one.
