My screen goes black when I close out Xbox menu in games

I've had a problem with my TV going black for almost a second whenever I close out the xbox menu when in game. I switched different hdmi cables, hdmi ports. Resarted my xbox. I've changed my tv video settings.

I found the answer, I plugged my xbox into a power strip with my mini fridge. After plugging my xbox into the wall this issue went away.

I'm posting this so as to inform the community of a solution to my issue should anyone else be using a powers trip as well.

if your tv settings say osd lock turn it on i just did that and its fine now i tryed what you did it didnt work but thanks for the help

also when it starts up it goes to a black screen with my gamer tag avatar and a circle going around it then goes to black and brings up the menu. Like i said 6-7 seconds or so in energy saver mode.

ok so when i get onto the xbox home screen it turns to black and when i press my xbox button it goes to the menu were you can see recent games or freinds and stuff but when i try to go to my games and apps the blue button doesnt move and my xbox.

I have the same problem with downloaded NBA 2K14. Going to any game mode, it goes to a loading screen forever. There is no notification of an error. It just keeps loading until I exit out to the Xbox One menu and close the game.
