    My rust pre order doesn’t give me the download for the closed beta


    Me and a friend both pre ordered rust, however he got it a few days before I did and I got it earlier today. We both purchased the same edition (Rust console edition - Deluxe) the only problem is that when he got it, it downloaded two different versions of the game, one being being titled (closed beta). I purchased the same thing as he did but It did not download the extra version. I am very concerned I might not get to play the beta. Please help.

    I pre ordered Marvel's Avengers from the Xbox Store on my console. Online it says the closed beta is on 14th August - 16th August, for people that have pre ordered the game. I have not received a beta code even though i have pre ordered the game.

    My console gives me the option to download the beta when I scroll down to the 'gamepass' section on my home screen. Not sure if it's the same for people who pre-ordered the game.

    If you preordered digitally through Xbox, you won't receive a code. You would already be able to download it. It would either show up in your ready to install area or you'll need to search for it in the store.

    If you preordered it from a retailer, you'll need to contact the retailer you purchased it from for assistance.

    I pre ordered online and I installed the pre order Sea of Thieves AND the pre ordered Sea of Thieves Closed beta. I have two Sea of Thieves in my Games folder now on Xbox One...and neither of them will let me in to the closed beta which started at 4am PST.
    So I assumed you needed a code, which I don't have.
    No, there's just been an issue with the beta and a lot of people are having it say they're trying to access it too early. If one of the downloads you have is the beta, then you don't need a code.

    If you pre-ordered from the Xbox store, you'll get the game digitally and be able to download it 10 days before it releases. If you pre-ordered the standard edition from Xbox store, you'll get Shao Kahn character and access to the closed beta.
