My Roblox streams and captures don’t work

Hello Josh, sorry to hear you're having trouble with your streams.

I've been doing some research on this problem and it seems that quite a few people are having the same issue. The common theory is that when you go to play a separate game in Roblox it opens the game in a web browser and Xbox doesn't allow that is it thinks you're trying to stream copyrighted material.

However, there may be a workaround. I can't guarantee this will work by try turning in the achievement tracker while you play (so you can see it on screen). From what I've read this will allow the stream to work properly.

I’m just streaming through the Twitch app on my Xbox, I don’t have a capture card or anything and I’ll take a look at that and see if it works thank you

I have the same problem here, Recording what happened and Streaming Roblox wouldn’t work for me at all, any other games works just fine for me but it’s Roblox that’s having this issue with recording/Streaming.

Hi, I don’t know if I’m doing this right. Can you explain what you mean when you said Xbox gamertag credentials. Like my password to login into Roblox would be my Microsoft account password as I remember both that and the username to it but, not the password to my Roblox account. I don’t have a pc so, I tried to login into my Roblox account using my phone and input into the username prompt: my Xbox gamertag username and my Microsoft password as my Roblox password and it didn’t work. During this I had not unlink my Roblox account from my Xbox account. Also when you stated to go to link social accounts in the Xbox account settings I didn’t see anything related to Roblox at all. I don’t know what to do. I’m sorry that I may not understand what you’re saying and I appreciate your help in this situation

I'm trying to upload captures from my xbox one to a USB or straight to my mac, is this possible? How can I get the captures onto my mac?

Unless you run something that can stream the xbox app, you would have to use a capture card that can take a HDMI input, there isn't a streaming app for the mac that I am aware of, unless you decide to broadcast to mixer, and then capture your mixer stream.
In that case,m you may as well use mixer to capture the content.
