  1. My Roblox (Google Chrome) causes random crashes in any Roblox game

I've been trying to solve this problem for about a year or two. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, but it didn't work. I've tried clearing the caches, but it didn't work. I've tried everything, even formatting the PC, but it didn't work.

I'm still having this problem, and I don't want to play Roblox on Microsoft, which also has the same problem.

What happens: I'm playing normally and Roblox freezes for 1-2 seconds and then says "Roblox isn't responding" and gives me two options: wait until it responds (but it waits endlessly without responding back) and the other option is to close Roblox. This happens in any Roblox game, it can be the heaviest or lightest game, it crashes, and I don't have FPS drops or lag, it just crashes randomly for no reason.

My Roblox (Google Chrome) causes random crashes in any Roblox game

    Hi, Márcio Queiroz.

Thank you for posting in the Microsoft Community.

From your description, I understand that you have a random crash problem when playing Roblox. I understand your confusion about this problem.

Outdated or incompatible graphics card drivers may be the root of the problem. Please make sure your graphics card drivers are up to date.

Go to the website of your graphics card manufacturer (NVIDIA, AMD or Intel) to download and install the latest driver.

When running in a browser, Roblox will have an impact on computer resources. If your computer is low on memory or the CPU usage is too high, it may cause Roblox to crash.

Check the memory and CPU usage in Task Manager. Make sure they are within a reasonable range. If system resources are tight, try to close unnecessary applications.

The Roblox support page provides some solutions to the game problem, I think you can visit the following link to check.

In addition, you can also contact Roblox support for further help.

My Roblox from the chrome wont start.

This is not Roblox support, and Chrome is a Google product.

You need to contact Roblox for support with their game even if you are playing an Xbox or Windows native version, which you are not, because they are the ones were equipped to help you

My roblox kept crashing when I got my new pc.

    Hi, LukeCC

    Welcome to the MicroSoft Community.

I'm sorry to learn that you're experiencing game crashes, I've been seeing a lot of users reporting problems with roblox games lately. I think this is a problem with the game itself. Here are some possible solutions to fix Roblox crashing on your new PC with an NVIDIA GT710 graphics card:

    1. Update your graphics drivers: Make sure you have the latest graphics drivers for your NVIDIA GT710 graphics card. You can download the latest drivers from the NVIDIA website. Verify the integrity of your Roblox game files:

    2. Corrupted game files can cause Roblox to crash. To verify the integrity of your Roblox game files, follow these steps:

    • Open the Roblox launcher.
    • Click on the gear icon in the top-right corner.
    • Select “Settings”.
    • Click on the “Verify Files” button.
    • Disable Fullscreen optimizations:

    3. Fullscreen optimizations can sometimes cause games to crash. To disable Fullscreen optimizations for Roblox, follow these steps:

    • Right-click on the Roblox shortcut on your desktop.
    • Select “Properties”.
    • Click on the “Compatibility” tab.
    • Check the box next to “Disable fullscreen optimizations”.
    • Click “Apply” and then “OK”.
    • Change your Roblox graphics settings:

    4. Reinstall Roblox: If none of the above solutions work, you can try reinstalling Roblox. To do this, follow these steps:

    • Uninstall Roblox from your computer.
    • Download the latest version of Roblox from the Roblox website.
    • Install Roblox and try playing the game again.

If you’re still having problems with Roblox crashing, you may need to contact Roblox support for further assistance.

    roblox cannot be opened

    1. Apply Some Basic Fixes

Begin troubleshooting the issue by applying these basic fixes, which may stop Roblox from crashing right away:

Whitelist Roblox in Windows Defender (See how to allow apps through Windows Defender). Also, temporarily turn off third-party antivirus software.

Turn off any anti-cheat software you use, even those that aren't directly related to Roblox.

Disable other programs running in parallel with Roblox to ensure the system don't crash due to a lack of resources.

Run Roblox as administrator to give Roblox a higher priority, which can prevent the game from crashing.

    2. Use the Microsoft Store App Until the Issue Is Resolved

Roblox users have reported that the error under discussion only affects those who attempt to join Roblox experiences from the web, not Roblox's Microsoft Store app. Because of this, if you have encountered a crash when joining an experience through the Roblox website, download Roblox's app from the Microsoft Store and join the experience through it.

Until the issue isn't fixed, continue using the Microsoft Store app to play Roblox experiences.

    Check for Browser Interference

If virtualization wasn't already enabled, and you don't use any virtual machines, check for browser interference and ensure that's not causing the error.

To confirm this, switch to a different browser and run Roblox experiences there. If you don't get an error in another browser, it's a problem specific to your primary browser. In that case, here're a few things you can do to exclude browser interference:

Clear the cache and cookies in Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or any other browser you use.

Disable or remove all your extensions to ensure they don't interfere with the process. Refer to our guide on how to disable or permanently remove the extensions on different browsers for instructions

    How Do You Fix This?

    Disable Virtualization From the BIOS

Virtualization allows Windows users to emulate another operating system, such as Linux. Having this feature enabled on Windows can cause the Roblox client to crash, and Roblox staff members recommend turning it off through the BIOS. Therefore, you should ensure it's disabled and disable it if necessary.

Turning off virtualization and accessing BIOS varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. Here's how you can turn off virtualization on a Dell device:

Turn off your Windows PC and then turn it back on.

Press F2 when the Dell logo appears on your screen; this will boot your device into BIOS.

Go to Advanced > Virtualization or Virtualization Support > Virtualization.

Click on Intel Virtualization Technology (VT) and uncheck the box beside Enable Intel Virtualization Technology (VT).

Click on Intel VT for Direct I/O and uncheck the box beside Enable Intel VT for Direct I/O.
