    My right stick on Xbox controller stopped working.


    This is sure is happening on 2 newer controllers at same time. They pair fine and all other buttons work but the right stick on both. Though on the tester it shows it working but on the dashboard or in game nothing. I’ve power cycled,unplugged, did a factory reset on the Xbox. Change batteries. Updated firmware ect. And no the magnifier isn’t on.

    Update…I have the same problem on 2 different Xboxes and on 3 different controllers. This is garbage.

    Thanks but I’m pretty sure it is the console update itself that happened yesterday that broke it. And there is not way to roll that back. And even the links provided are not updated to the new set up. Also will add directly connected by the USB C doesn't work either. It not a hardware problem like I said it does sense it in the tester and also if you go to Edge browser and try and move with the stick it make the curser disappear but not move. Also I’m not paying $199 for a bad update. Also when you try and roll back the firmware it says something went wrong you are already up to date.

    Right Joy Stick Stopped Working on All My Controllers

    I did update the controller firmware and it had no effect. I ended up calling customer support and this guy said he's never seen a problem like this but he had me clear the system cache by disconnecting all wires info the Xbox 1 and hold down on the power
    button for 2 mins, after this all my controllers work fine. Thanks
