My rewards aren't adding up. Customer Service said post here.

I checked out my rewards statement and its not adding up. The statement said I only earned 3,000 points for February, although It did register the preorder punch card for 15,000 points. However, 3,000 points is only for spending $30, I spent more. In February
I spent $79.99 on Halo Wars 2, $59.99 on Resident Evil 7 and I preordered Mass Effect Andromeda for $69.99. In March I already spent $119.00 but I dont think thats supposed to show up yet. For February though I spent $209.97. I'm a gold subscriber, 5-star
VIP and supposed to get 10% back. Thus for the month of February statement on games I should have 21,000 not 3,000 points coming to me. Therefore, I'm not getting the credit I'm supposed to. I have 18,000 credits not accounted for, which is $18 dollars.

I called customer support but thet sent me here, so plz look into this. I base the method of buying games digital, since I SUPPOSED to get 10% back on what I buy.

Bestbuy 800 point problem.

Last week i had a coupon from Gamers unlocked. A second rewards program under the Bestbuy rewards program. The coupon was buy 3-month or 12-month xbox live membership get 800 Microsoft points. The clerk said you should receive an email in 3 days with the
points. I did not then i emailed bestbuy customer service. They said that i will receive 800 points to my Xbox live account in 35 days. but i had to call the 800-4my-xbox number to setup an new account. I tried to tell customer service that i had a account
and give them my gamertag. They replied again that i will receive my points to my account but had to call the Xbox number. I just got off the phone with you customer service they are just as confused as i am said to post here. Been trying to deal with these
people for 2 days.

Keep in mind that the credits for the punchcard offer won't be given until after all 3 games have been released. Also keep in mind that preorders and games that count towards other offers are not included in your rebate.

 

that dont make sense, your saying the three games i preorder to get 15,000 points, negates the 10% back i was supposed to get for those three games? Lets see, I preordered HW2 UE $80, GRW Delux $70 and MEA Delux $70 that total $220. At 10% back I'd get 22,000
points but the punch card offer negates the normal 10% instead only giving me 15,000 credits and robbing me of 7,000? If true that is shady beyond all else and have a hard time believing it. If true I'll be raising a **** storm. But for arguments. sake lets
say your right, I'd still be short on credits since in your view buying MEA and HW2 the preorder punch card takes my 10% on those and only leaves me with RE7 which I spent $60 on that I should have at least 6,000 for the February catagory in my statement since
I was gold when I bought it. However, its only 3,000 points which would mean I only got 5% back on RE7 and this so called "special" offer takes away 7,000 credits. Something STILL isnt right right in either case. I need some help here.

 

Support will stick check on your credits, but yes, the games you preordered for the punchcard would only count towards that punchcard. You can only receive credits for purchase once. They can't qualify for multiple offers. Preorders don't count towards VIP
at all so you would not have gotten the 10% back on those anyway. So you would not have receive credits for those purchases without the punchcard actually.

 

then all i'd do is not preorder if thats true. Wow, if all your saying is true then rewards are a border line scam and I need to read the fine print

What content on the Xbox Store is eligible for MyVIP?

Normally, most purchases for Xbox 360 and Xbox One from the Xbox Store qualify, including full Games on Demand titles (excluding game pre-orders), arcade games, indie games, game add-ons, game Season Passes, movies, TV shows, TV seasons, themes and avatar
items. In-game consumables, Xbox Live Gold memberships, Groove Music Passes, Microsoft Movies & TV Season Passes, and the purchase or redemption of Microsoft Points or Xbox Gift Cards, still do not qualify.

Since these purchases are pre-orders, they would not qualify for MyVIP payback. Furthermore, purchases that go towards offers do not go towards MyVIP payback as well.
