My Reward points don't seem to be updating,

You'll want to post in the Xbox Rewards Questions forum in order for support to check into it for you.

I received the same message. Trying to redeem my 500 points has been a joke. Everything is "out of stock" whenever I have tried.... from the company itself that provides the reward and is a digital reward?? Add "Mm" to "Hmm...". This is why I usually don't
even bother with these VIP points, rewards, etc. There always seems to be a "problem".

You can earn Xbox Live Rewards Credit in two ways:

1. By finishing the offers located on the MyMissions page at https://rewards.xbox.com/mymissions/ .

-or-

2. By earning a one star MyVIP level through purchasing at least $300 USD or regional equivalent of eligible content. After you receive your first star you will begin to earn a percentage of your eligible purchases back as payback Rewards Credit. Pre-orders, in-game
consumables, and subscriptions are not eligible for MyVIP.

In September 2014 we changed to the MyVIP policy. As a result, payback based off Gamerscore (MyAchievements) was discontinued. Also, as of July 2014, we do not award Credits for Xbox Live Gold renewals. In September 2015, we made some refinements to the
program. One change that happened was an adjustment of MyVIP purchase thresholds. You were then placed into the relevant MyVIP rank with your purchases from September 2014-August 31st 2015. You can check your current MyVIP level/progress at (https://rewards.xbox.com/myrewards/).

Since most of your recent purchases have been either in-game consumables or pre-orders that were not eligible for any special offers off the MyMissions page, they were not eligible for any Credit Rewards.

Are there any specific offers you're looking for credits from? In order to receive credits, your purchases either have to be eligible for a specific offer on the site at the time, or you need at least 1 star level in order to receive VIP rebates.

I logged into the Xbox LIVE Rewards website and my points balance seems wrong. What should I do?

A. First, remember that these are Rewards Points that have been earned through Xbox LIVE Rewards. This total does not include any Microsoft Points that have been purchased under your Xbox LIVE account. Don't worry, you can spend Reward Points just like the
rest of your Microsoft Points.

Secondly, don't forget that Rewards Points are deposited into your Xbox LIVE account twice per month. Check the Rewards Points Pending section of the MyRewards page to make sure you don't have any pending transactions, which will not yet show up in your Total
Rewards Points Awarded. Rewards Points do show in your
Microsoft Billing Points activity area along with points you've purchased or redeemed. You can look for your deposits there as well.
