    My reward clarity


    Hi after reading the following in FAQ I just want clarity "What content on the Xbox Store is eligible for MyVIP?Normally, most purchases for Xbox 360 and Xbox One from the Xbox Store qualify, including full Games on Demand titles (excluding game pre-orders)"

    Does this mean if I pre-order I don't get the credit on release? Should I stop preordering and buy on opening day if I want to benefit for my rewards?

    I wasn't worrying about it, nor am I reward hunting. Just asking how something works so that all forum participants (not just myself) can fully appreciate being part of a friendly, positive & helpful community. It would appear I have offended some of you
    with my request for clarity--I assure you this was not my intent. My sincerest apologies if any was offense was taken.

    Regarding LIVE Rewards

    I recently started the monthly surveys for the rewards program, and I took the August-October surveys, however, I only received points for August.

    I'm not sure if receiving points for only one month of the year is intended or if I just have a problem on my hands, but any clarity would be appreciated.

    You would only get credit for a preorder if it is eligible for an offer on the site at the time you preorder. If you want it to count towards your VIP, you have to purchase the game after release.

    Hello jambru,

    Pre-orders are not eligible for MyVIP, so they will not award payback or progress toward your next MyVIP star. However, if they are included in an offer on the MyMissions page, they will still be eligible for any Credits from that offer.

    You wohld have to try contacting Rewards support via the contact link at the bottom of the Rewards site to see if they can offer any clarity. We do not have that information here.

    For clarity, it would be best to contact Microsoft Rewards support via the contact link at the bottom of the Rewards site for an official answer. If they do send anything as a code, you can give that to someone else. The codes from Rewards are not tied to your account.
