My remote looks up

Thanks for the reply in letting us know how long you have had the controller. In this case you could try a third party for a repair. Personally when my controllers do this I just replace them. With Microsoft there is a 90 day warranty on controllers.

Thanks for coming to the forums with your question. The issue you are having with the controller is called drifting. You can try and update the controller. Usually when this starts happening the controller is in need of repair/replacement. How old is the
controller that you are using?

I am not looking to use game pass. I am looking to use remote play with my series x. The app itself is not opening up.

yeah its amazing. the remote looks just like my DVR remote. and works perfect. which is great becuase my DVR remote was dying.
