My recently serviced Xbox one is now chirping!

I sent my Xbox one s for a repair due to it turning off when freezing which seems to be fixed now. Today as I was playing a game on it about 2 days after receving it back the fan has started to make a chirping squeaky noise on and off, it would come on for
about a minute then go away and come back later. I need some really good advice on what to do here, I really don’t know if I can be asked to send it back again. I was playing a game without the disc so it must be the fan.

Getting Really Frustrated!!!!

Since April I've sent my Xbox One in three friggin' times because the fan wouldn't stop squeaking. I got it back this week and now it's chirping again!!! I'm getting really tired of this shenanigan. The Xbox One works it's just the fan is chirping and driving
me absolutely crazy!!!

My Xbox One also won't stop chirping! I've followed the suggestions and it still continues to chirp, it is very annoying.

I am considering requesting a repair and try to get it fixed that way, has anyone fixed the chirping issue?

 

Just found out my xbox one s is now out of warranty because I sent it for a repair... cannot believe i’m seeing this!

Thanks for reaching out to us! We understand this can be concerning since the console is making a noise that sounds squeaky. It does seem like it would be the fan itself making that noise.

I would suggesting trying to make sure there is no dust or anything and that the

console is in an open area. If it appears that there is an internal issue with the fan itself and you believe it could cause an issue then it would be best to set up another repair. Sometimes the fan does make a noise but that is the fan working hard when
playing certain games or doing certain tasks.

Hi thanks for replying. Just wanted to ask, would my xbox one still be eligible for an in warranty repair even though It was already sent not long ago? If so then I don’t know how to scheudle another repair as when I click on the schedule repair option its
only displaying the accessories and wont let me schedule another repair for the xbox itself. Also I’m from the UK, not sure if that changes anything.

reseller ships it to You.
