    I recently purchased Atomic Heart and Starfield while my PS5 is in the shop for repairs. I bought them both on the XBox app on PC (Windows 10). when I go to play them, I am continually given the following error code:

    - 0x80070520



    Along with a message that states "Could not sign you into XBox Live"

    I paid some decent money for these games together, so I'd very much like to enjoy them. Steam works fine. EA app works fine. Even some other games (Like Wolfenstein) load just fine. Thus far I've even deleted and redownloaded these games, and nothing. Still the same error code.

    I've already went through Windows 10 and made sure my services are running automatic for anything XBox related. This hasn't helped. I've also checked Game Services. Same issue. I'm going to attempt to redownload the XBox app, as I CAN log into both of my Game Pass accounts, and, like I said, some games DO work. I'd really like resolution to this issue, otherwise it looks like I'm going to have to seek a refund, and I'd rather like to just play them (though I suppose I could try finding them on Steam).

    Any help would be appreciated.

    When you purchase an Xbox Play Anywhere game digitally, it’s yours to play on both Xbox and Windows 10. You need to purchase the digital game via the Web Store on your Xbox or Windows 10 device and it’ll appear in your game library wherever you sign in.

    If you purchased the game on Xbox and want to play it on Windows 10, sign in on your Windows 10 device. If the game is already installed on your device, it’ll appear in your list of apps. Otherwise, you can install it by opening the Store and selecting My
    library.

    If you purchased the game on Windows 10 and want to play it on your Xbox console, sign in on your console and go to My games & apps. If the game is already installed, it’ll appear in your game list. Otherwise, you can find it in the Ready to install section.

    The companion app is for consoles

    You need to buy it on the xbox app on your windows 10

    By using the Xbox console companion app you queued the Xbox game not the pc game

    And fable 2 isn't available per say on Windows 10 but there is one offical way to play it on Windows 10

    You need to update to the recent windows 10 anniversary update if it's available to you in your region

    It's varies region by region as ita a phased release since the Xbox 20th anniversary not long ago

    Once you have it you need to download the xbox play app which lets you play non windows supported xbox games like fable 2

    And yes it is ms offical xbox app to play 360 games

    I am also finding that I cannot sign into my xbox app and cannot play the games. It has only happened recently and means that I cannot access it. I am on Windows 10 on a lap top.

    Hello

    I recently jumped on the xbox game pass for pc and with that came a mandatory Windows 10 update, plus the updated xbox beta-app. However, when I logged in to the new app, my games disappeared from "My games"-list?

    Can someone point me in a nice direction?

    Btw: Microsoft, you seriously need to get the xbox app sorted out. It's quite under par compared to other gaming platforms...

    I would like to clarify my post - The games that are missing, are the games that I've bought BEFORE I purchased xbox game pass ultimate.

    As Smwutches mentioned, Xbox Play Anywhere is only available for digital purchases of XPA eligible titles. When you buy an Xbox Play Anywhere digital game through the Xbox Store or the Windows Store, it’s yours to play on both Xbox One and Windows 10 PC
    at no additional cost.

    To take advantage of Xbox Play Anywhere, you will need to have installed the Windows 10 Anniversary Edition update on your PC, as well as the latest update on your Xbox One console. Then, simply log into your Xbox Live/Microsoft account and your Xbox Play
    Anywhere games will be available to download. On your Xbox One, games will show as “Ready to Install” under “My Games and Apps”. On your Windows 10 PC, games will appear in “My Library.”
