Hello, recently I was communication banned on my xbox. My younger brother was playing on my account and used vulgar language. I beileved this violated the code of conduct. I would ben extremly grateful if the ban was lifted. It wasn’t me using the account
and I hope you will lift the ban. The name of the banned account is “”

Recent Communication ban

Alright so recently Ive received a communication ban on my Account OVO Skrt, While the other communication bans I have received I accepted punishment for my actions due to understand-ability of consequence of the pretty harsh things i said ,this one has
me quite confused/disappointed. After copping abuse all game I sent literally one message containing a reasonably mild swear word which had me instantly banned, not only is this pretty dumb reasoning behind a comm-ban this has also banned my account from watching
netflix and youtube and has been causing my games to crash once I sign in which in my opinion is pretty unfair and defeats the whole purpose of an xbox. I took this problem to xbox support asking for help even on the whole crash thing and I was told to request
a case review and post on the forums to get a clearer understanding of the ban/ a potential lift which would make my account possibly usable again after that unnecessary ban. Please help as my account is virtually unusable for another 2 weeks!

The enforcement team does not use the forums. To submit a case review, you would need to go to http://enforcement.xbox.com It doesn't matter how a situation starts. If you respond in a way that violates the code of conduct, you can be punished. Use of profanity,
no matter if you think It's mild, violates the code of conduct. In situations like that, It's best to just report the other player and block communications with them.

Yes you can play games while have only a communications ban but there is a small catch on some games. If the game requires communications the a Comm Ban will prevent you from playing that game.
