    My RDR2 game has been downgraded from "ultimate edition" to the normal edition after buying...


    So my Xbox one finally gave up after 9 years of service. Bought a new Series X, and installed my RDR2 game but suddenly I noticed that the extra items from the "ultimate edition" was gone. In the Microsoft store I suddenly did not own the ultimate edition, but only the standard edition...

    When I check my account, and former purchases it clearly states that I bought the "ultimate edition" years ago - yet I can only download and install the standard edition now...

    All Contant bundles contain the standard version of the game, it is extraordinarily rare that there is an actual separate build to the game called "ultimate edition"

    You still own all your items

    I know that but what I dio not understand it is if the ultimate edition includes rdr2 online or not.

    On the first screen were all the versions are displayed it does not mention thar the ultimate edition includes rdr2 online. But if you click on the ultimate edition in the overview it says

    Do you own rdr2 ultimate edition?

    I need to be sure that includes the online version before buying it as I don't want to waste my money.

    I preordered the ultimate edition on the 23rd and wanted to use the gta money before rdr2 came out so i wasnt bored no use in having the money after the game comes out

    I don't have a problem with horse death being permanent in RDR2 however we should be able to buy another new horse of the same special edition breed(s) from a stable for those of us who paid extra. If Rockstar doesn't fix that then I for one will never
    buy another Ultimate edition for any of their games because what's the point if we don't get to use the extra content?

    i pre ordered dying light ultimate edition but when it got released i check xbox store it shows me i still have to buy ultimate edition and that i have dying light the normal edition bought and installed , i checked the payment billing from my email and
    told me i bought the ultimate edition. And i still didnt get the add ons, but i got the season pass
