    My profile's status shows me as offline even though my settings are set to show me online
    For some reason my account shows me as offline to everyone even thought it's set to show me online. when I send a message to a friend it shows up on their screen saying " message from undefined." My posts to forums also show my name as "Undefined user" instead
    of showing my gamertag. This problem has lasted for over a year now and I have no idea how to fix it. Help would be much appreciated.

    Thank you for the response. I clicked that link and it shows my status as "Blocked". So then what you are saying is that even though when I push the middle button and look at my "online status" it has the bullet by default next to "online" selected, that
    in actuality no one can see me because my website settings override it? So then I do not have to manually set the bullet to show me as "offline" everything I do not want my status known? I will check with a friend tomorrow to see if they see me. Thanks!

    New Xbox Experience - appear offline?

    In the previous dash it had a dropdown box with 'appearing online' and 'appear offline' along with a status to the left that showed how you appeared to everyone else. Now in the new xbox dash it shows a box which changes between appear online and appear offline, with no status. So my question is whether 'appear online' showing on the button is my current status meaning I am showing as online, or what the button will do if I select it, meaning I am currently offline? I've tried going on the xbox 360 with an alternate profile to check it but it doesnt seem to make a difference.

    Why do I show offline on MW2. My friends show offline as well. How do I fix this

    Hi All,

    I was having the same issue on PS5 where my MW2 status always shows me offline but my PS5 status in set to Online. I could join friends online but they couldn’t send me invites because I always showed as offline. What finally fixed it for me was to login to my Activision account through my PC and web browser. Then on the Activision site I was able to set my profile to “Online” and then back on PS5 and MW2 my status finally was corrected.

    friends forever offline bug

    If you friend clicks his name in profile set it to online also check his privacy settings one is not set to online thus given false positive showing online & offline. I had same issue with some friends. My profile said offline but in my settings i had
    right things set. Also they could of set it so you couldnt see them on settings one is always set wrong. This is why i only use profile to show me offline or do not disturb but mainly i click offline

    I'm appearing online, yet everyone sees me as offline; I see everyone as offline, when they are not; and more++!

    If you set your profile on "show online" and still appear as "offline" please also check your privacy settings as there is an item "allow others to see my online status" which may override your setting if it's configured to hide your status from all.

    why dosnt the most recent players list update one time?

    It's also possible that it isn't updating due to your online status. Is your online status set to show offline?
    no... im not a little girl who set my profile to always ofline.. and if u dont belve me go ahad and look at my gamer profile.. like u should have in the first place. you know actual do some research your self befor assuming stuff
