It fell in water. It would not shut it self off till it died but it was already most the way dead before it got wet. Let it dry in rice overnight. Went to try this morning. It turned on. Wouldn't respond. It had a small stroke then shut off. Now it doesn't seem to be charging or anything.

My Xbox One S frequently switches off during games. Any help please?

Can you tell use what you are doing when this happens how long does it run till that it turns off. Might be a thermal related problem

If you can get a can of compressed air (for electronics), then unplug the console completely, take it outside when it's dry, and spray the can of compressed air through the vents on the Xbox One S console. That should help get rid of some of the dust inside
the console that might be clogging the vents, and hopefully that will help with the shutdown problems.
