    My Pin Won’t Reset!


    On my Xbox whenever i go to switch accounts or add a new one it gives me a prompt to type a pin, I’ve followed what it says on the forums if you don’t know ur pin type any combination 3x then enter your Microsoft password, which didn’t work when i type a combination 3x it kicks me off the PIN code and when I go to security sign in and pin it tells me to make a pin and not delete?

    Hi! My name is Ben an Independent advisor and Xbox gamer like you. Hope you are doing well!

    With regards to resetting your Xbox PIN, if you forgot your previous PIN yes you will need to make a new PIN first. Once you created a new PIN, you can then manage your PIN via settings to remove it if you don't wish to have one.

    After making a new PIN, just Go to Profile & system > Settings > Account > Sign-in, security & PIN > Delete my PIN if you wish to remove it. But for me, I would suggest to have one for your console specially if there are other people using your console just so you have a peace of mind your account is secured.

    Having the same problem just started recently no matter how many times I try it won’t pin it will say it’s pinned but as soon as you refresh it’s unpinned again.

    It's probably your PC password. Have you tried using your PC password?
