My philips tv doesnt turn off when I turn on/off the xbox

To my knowledge, you also need the Kinect sensor bar to get this to work. Here is a guide of how to set it up:

I can confrim that you do NOT need a kinect or any specail device too do this with. You only need a kinect or voice assiant like alexa if you want too control by voice. Simply having the tv turn on and off when the xbox does doesnt need voice it can be done
with a xbox one controller or even just by pressing the power button on the console.

If your xbox isnt turning on the tv then there is something off in the settings and you may have the wrong make or model selected for your tv Also make sure you use the HDMI cable that come with the console

Probably something to do with the universal remote codes that need to be tweaked by Microsoft. I have a slightly similar issue where the command does not turn on my Philips receiver, but turns it off fine with the "Xbox, turn off" command. But what makes
it weird is if I turn on my receiver first, the "Xbox On" command turns it off.

It happens when you turn it on. No image or sound. And already tried other cable too.

Things that i heave already tried, and nothing worked

1- Change Cable

2- Turn it on on the other TV, turn off the optimal settings and configure it on 720p (even both TVs are 1080p)

3- With the Standard AV Cable it works

And nothing works on the Philips TV, on my Samsung everything is normal.

try turning your xbox one on with your tv off - then turn on your tv.

i find with mine when i switch inputs i need to turn my tv off then on for it to pick it up.
