My pc wont discover my xbox controller.

i did now but i still gotta connect to the xbox controller so yeah

"1. Replace the type of batteries.
For some reason, certain rechargeable ones in particular are known to create complications with wireless connections on PC. So try standard alkaline (long life) ones if you’re using rechargeable batteries.
2. Run the built-in Hardware and Devices troubleshooter.
Run this troubleshooter in Settings > Update & security, choose the relevant troubleshooter and select Run as administrator.
If it’s missing in Windows Settings or doesn’t launch properly, retry the above from Command Prompt. Press the Windows key + S (or search for the program), type cmd.exe and select Run as administrator, then select Yes when prompted to allow User Account Control (UAC).
Type the following in elevated Command Prompt and press enter:
msdt.exe -id DeviceDiagnostic
Select next when you see the troubleshooter and apply any suggested solutions after it determines the issue.
3. Update or reinstall Xbox controller drivers.
Launch Device Manager (Windows key + X or search for it in the Windows search bar). There should be a Microsoft Xbox controller category or something similar, expand that and select Update driver software or reinstall it if you prefer. There’s the option to search for an update automatically, or manually search on your system (automatic is probably best).
4. Update or reinstall Plug and Play Software Device Enumerator driver.
The same as everything in step 3, but this time select Plug and Play Software Device Enumerator.
Installing these updates may take a few minutes. Be sure to restart your PC once this is complete. This should especially help if you receive a hardware not recognised error message."

In order to isolate a bit more the issue please answer the following questions:

Do you have a built-in Bluetooth card? Or are you using an external USB Bluetooth adapter?
If you connect the controller via cable, it works as expected. Right?
Also, if you try pairing the controller with a different device (another PC, a phone) are you able to pair and use the controller?

And, which troubleshooting steps you have done so far to fix this problem, in that way I can advise you different things or how to proceed

Did you install the Xbox accessories app?

Hello josef, i went down the list and i updated my xbox drivers trough a wire in the xbox accesories app and now it works, thankyou very much.
