My pc lags when someone joins party on xbox app

maybe you need to check the back ground how many app are consuming ram check it

Be careful who you join parties with, they cannot find your IP on the console but if you join a party, they can load the party onto a PC using the xbox app and then they can use software on the PC to find your IP address. So if you make someone mad in
a game, do not accept a party invitation right away.

I have tried testing out everything you have mentioned at it seemed to work for a while, until i noticed that it started to close/crash every time someone new joined a party i was in. I have tested it out with friends and when someone
joins the party who hasn't been in the current party session, my Xbox app closes down.

Just so that I am clear when you are trying this in party chat? In game chat?

You can hear the other players in the chat but they can not hear you?

Are you starting the party through the stream on the xbox itself? Or are you starting the party through the xbox app on the pc itself?

These are two different things.

I personally have noticed that if I try and join a party through the Xbox itself and not the xbox app I can hear the other people but they can not hear me. If I join the party or start a party and have people join through the xbox app on the PC then it works
fine.

So try that and see if that fixes your problem.

you can do it on a phone and it is possible to do that through the console, like i say finding someones ip is legal, but doing nafarious stuff with the ip is illegal and out of microsoft jurisdiction.
