It doesn't make sense for me to get the Adaptive Controller to use my Logitech Extreme 3D joystick. Why not just use it on the XBox Series S console via one of the USB inputs??

Almost any USB C to USB A cable (your standard USB Phone/tablet charge cable) will work fine for PC or console gaming with a Series X type controller. I use a 2M USB C cable to connect my Series X controller to my PC.

I don't have any Bluetooth issues, but using a cable does avoid changing the batteries so much. 😁

Also I have attempted to downgrade the firmware through the Xbox Accessories app, it told me 'hey there's no issue you're updated!' and proceeded to close the update page. I also tried connecting it to my Windows device and it does not recognise the controller despite the controller vibrating when I plug it into the USB.

My "Logitech Extreme 3D" joystick has been running flawlessly so far, even with other games connected to a PC.

My question was, can or must I connect my joystick directly to the XBox Series s console or the Standard XBox Controller instead of to a PC, since there are 2 USB inputs on the console? and there is 1 USB-C input on the controller?

The game (here: Flight Simulator 2022) does not show the joystick in the settings when I use one of the inputs on the console. I would like to play the game on the PC, so I don't think I need this "Adaptive Controller".
