    my brother changed my gamer tag to [Mod Removed]and someone reported it how was i suppose to know he changed it now support is telling me to pay how is this right someone plz help me this is wrong

    Hey enforcement team I was recently hacked of my xbox live account. My account gamertag is Brother. This was my 1st ever account that i made and when i finally bought a new xbox because my previous one had stopped working i went to sign into my account and
    it says that your email doesn't exist anymore. I knew something was up because i only had two emails. So i made a silver account and add my gamertag (Brother) and i see that the gamerpic was changed along with the gamer score. I would be happy if you can help
    me get my account back safely. Thanks. Again the gamertag is Brother

    Hi Jake,

    Sorry to hear your brother’s account got hacked into. Please read through the support page for ways on securing and/or recovering the account.

    If there’s any credit/debit cards on the account, make sure to cancel/block these to prevent any unauthorised charges. Contact your bank if there are any charges you don’t recognise.

    Also, If you happen to know the person who gained access and took control of the account without permission, report and block them. As well as, of course never share account details, such as password, phone number, payment info etc. and always keep account
    security info up to date.
