My new xbox series x controller keeps on disconnecting

Connecting the controller with a USB cable doesn't work,

Controller still disconnects even with a USB cable connected,

I have the same issue with Series X using mouse and keyboard for Call of Duty Vanguard.

I played during the beta and there was no problems with the controller disconnecting but as soon as the game released, the controller disconnects,

I've tried a Xbox One controller Series X controller, with batteries and a USB cable, and the controllers still disconnects.

I have tried your solution and it only worked temporarily. Takeing out the battery's and putting them back in after a few minutes also works. However, after turning the console off and turning it on later I found that the problem came back

Would you mind giving this a try?

- Press and hold your controller's Xbox button until it shuts down.
- Remove your controller's batteries and USB cable (if plugged in) for a minute or two.
- Remove your headset from the controller's 3.5mm port.
- Press and hold your console's power button until it shuts down.
- Remove all external devices from the console's USB ports.
- Unplug your console's power cord for 5 minutes. If you have the original Xbox
One, you'll need to unplug the power supply unit from both the console and the
outlet.
- Plug the power cord back in, and make sure to use one of the wall's outlets.
- Turn your console on and check if the issues persist.

If that doesn't work, I'd suggest using a fresh set of batteries or plugging your controller in via a USB cable to verify if you experience similar issues. Please do let me know if you have already tried any of these.

I am using the original xbox one model

Yes the controller will randomly disconnect by itself. It also turned off when I plugged in one of my headsets.

The controller I mentioned is the normal xbox series controller.

Yes I updated the controller and the problem still continues.

I think it might be a connection issue it still disconnects but less depending on where I am
