    I recently bought a pair of skullcandy riff over the ear headphones and they worked before but now the sound works but not the microphone and it works on my phone but not my pdp wired controller.

    We really appreciate you posting up on the Xbox Forums. As far as the mic not working at the moment, Have you perhaps tried a different controller? We can isolate the issue faster if we have something else to test it on, since you have already tested this
    on your phone.

    You can also follow the steps for
    If others can't hear you     of our Xbox One Chat Headset troubleshooting article to see if performing these steps will alleviate your headset not being detected. Once you get a chance, please go ahead and let us know the results of your test.

    Some people are experiencing problems with the headset after the latest updates and Microsoft is aware of this.

    Home Page of my XBOX 1S shows a muted mic...HELP!!!

    I have tried many ways and several times to unmute the mic icon on the top right corner of my homepage. My headphones, nor my mic works. My controller is wireless but my headphones/mic plugs directly into the xbox controller. It was working fine
    a few days ago and now it's not working at all. The headset is new. Any ideas?
    Try turning the xbox off and then turn the console back on with your mic already plugged into your controller. If that doesnt work try going into settings and see if updating the controller works

    I had my chat working fine and now today my mic does not get recognized, i can hear other people but my mic doesnt even activate. I have the chat adapter plugged into the chat port, I have updated my controllers and hard reset my xbox, and fiddled with deleting
    and adding a new xbox source and profile and nothing works any one have a solution?
