Yes it only happens when I play games - mainly open world games. What I've noticed is that I might be pressing the shift button aswell, but I'm not sure. When I tried frantically left clicking on my desktop screen, nothing happened. I'm using a logitech gaming mouse that works well. The issue only started after I downloaded a game (Wuthering Waves to be exact) that was from an official website and is 100% legit, so it shouldn't be a problem. I will try reinstalling the mouse drivers and I will keep you updated if it works. Thanks again.

I would like to know more about you. May I ask if this happens to you only when you play the game? What brand of mouse are you using? Does it have its own "button mapping"?

If so, I would suggest trying to uninstall the mouse driver in the device manager, it will usually re-download automatically or restart the computer and the system will also download the mouse driver automatically. (Open the device manager by searching directly in the search bar - open the mouse and other pointer devices - uninstall the mouse driver) Try to see if you can solve the problem.

It is also possible that the game buttons cause problems, there may be special buttons that are caused when certain buttons are pressed in combination with the mouse and keyboard. Do you only have this problem when playing a particular game?

Hi. My name is Mel and I am an independent advisor. If your computer is beeping at you whenever you press Shift / Control / Alt / Windows Key, you may have enabled Sticky keys. (By default, this will turn on when the shift key has been pressed 5 times in a row). To turn this off, open up Windows settings, the easiest way to do this is by click on the Windows icon at the bottom left and then click on "Settings." Then click on "Ease of Access" to take you to the Accessibility settings. Scroll down the menu on the left side until you reach "Keyboard" and click on that. From there, look for the section on "Sticky Keys." Make sure that the slider is turned off (it is also a good idea to disable the shortcut by unchecking the box "Allow the shortcut key to start Sticky Keys" as this will prevent this from being turned on in the future.)
This should stop your keyboard from behaving strangely. Hope this helps and have a lovely day

I think you're right, it's related to a recent update as that's when my harmony inputs started acting up in Netflix as well. Pressing the Enter key or left mouse click double presses the entry causing it to pause/play every time. The command works fine from the Harmony app, just not from the keyboard input. Possibly unrelated to our sound issues but just noticed both issues started after the latest patch...

Hit a 'windows' key to get back to the start screen, then put your mouse cursor in the top left of the screen, a box with all open apps will show, click on the one you want.
