let's start with the specs i have a:

odyssey g5 27inch monitor

gigabyte 3070 rtx

ryzen 7 5800x

b550 pro ax motherboard

750 gold+ cougar gex psu

32gp of 3200hz ram.

okey let's get into the problem, my monitor goes black for 5 to 10 seconds while playing games, the game is still going but i can't see anything, I googled for like a week or 2 on how to fix this but nothing works i changed the hdmi cable 2 times and tried a display port which still didn't work, changed the power plan settings as all the guides said and that didn't help and got all the updates for the gpu and windows which yep you guessed it, that didn't help either, heck i even thought the problem was the electricity of my house so i waited a couple of weeks till the family moved to another home but nope the problem still persists

iam at my wits end on what i should do, like is the problem my gpu or monitor or psu, pls help!

iam pretty sure i did a stress test when i completed the build i did heaven unigine stress test and except for a score on the lower end of the spectrum nothing was out of the oridinary, i will do it again to check, but if that went right, what does that mean? would the problem still be the psu?

hmm never thought of that thought it's either the monitor the electricity or the gpu then i will look for someone to diagnose the psu thanks alot for the help

just did a stress test and ya i know iam on the high range i just meant that i was low compared to other builds with the same parts, nvm that, the test went smooth and when i checked the gpu it was pulling 250 watts no problem no screen black out or anything, i also remember that before i moved out the computer was the only thing in the house i played on it for 3 days without a single black screen donot know if that helps,andya i just bought the psu for like 3 months maximum so iam pretty sure i can return it for warranty but it was gonna be a hustle so i wanted to make sure that iam fixing the right hardware, to not

Based on your specs, It should have been anywhere in the upper-mid to high range. My guess is the psu isn't drawing enough power to the motherboard causing it to make the screen go black. I'd just suggest looking into the warranty with the manufacturer if it hasn't been too long since you bought it or finding a better rated PSU as that is one of the few computer parts you cant go cheap on.
