My Modern Warfare 2 2022 wouldn't read in my xbox one.

Then I would exchange the disc

I had a friend who had this same problem. All other disc games worked fine except for Mw2 2022. He even went back to the retailer (gamestop) and they exchanged the disc with another brand new sealed copy but even the brand new copy wouldn't read.

Meanwhile every other disc based game he had worked.

He basically had to beg them to give his money back and then ultimately just bought a digital copy in the end which has been working fine.

I'm having the same issue. It's rather frustrating to spend that much money on a game that doesn't work

This may mean that the issue is with the disc game itself. Kindly perform a powercycle on your console by following the steps below:

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

Also, make sure that your disc does not have any damage or scratches.

Just to confirm, which Modern Warfare title is this affecting? Modern Warfare (2019), Modern Warfare 2 (2022), or Modern Warfare 3 (2023)?
