my modem had a reset and cant connect my xbox to internet since

my internet supplier is bell canada we had a electricity shutdown for 5 minutes and when it happens your modem doesnt restart like normal modems usually do lol but i did restart it but since i did my xbox says im connected to internet but i cant
connect to xbox live or anything im about to smash it i tried everything i found and nothing is working it doesnt even want to disconnect from internet what do i do

Have you tried restarting your console and checking multiplayer connection? You could also try disconnecting power and connection cables. Your connection devices may not be recieving power. I think this is more hardware than software.

Have you tried connecting your console to the momem via Ethernet cable?

It sounds like a hardware issue. Did you check to see that nothing changed in terms of wifi password etc maybe it reset etc. I would just reset the modem while the xbox is completely off then start your modem back up then turn your xbox on and then sign
in if you need to connect the network. Just ensure all your setting are the same

Reset your console to factory default before you smash it if nothing else worked.
