My minecraft world disappeared from my worlds list and I don't know what to do.

I have this world that me and my friends have been working on recently and after going offline for a bit, I log back on Minecraft and the world is gone. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, and it has not come back. It is genuinely gone without a trace.
What can I do?

If it just happened today, it’s quite possible it’s a glitch on their end that isn’t loading up worlds. I would also check on your forums for the game and see if anybody else is having this issue.

If the world does not come back, I would try getting in touch with Mojang and talking to them about it.

Hi there. The only two things I can suggest is clearing cache data by holding in power button on xbox for 15 seconds or until it powers down and leave it 30 seconds and power it back on. If that doesnt work try removing your account from your xbox and
re add it and see if that helps. If not I am unsure of what else can be done. I hope this helps and I hope you are safe and well in these hard times.

@butterandtoast are you sure the data saved on your hard drive? it could possibly be in there unless it was downloading before your Xbox shut off.
