My Minecraft Windows 10 menu screen won't load the rest of the options

Actually the Minecraft website refers to the Minecraft for Windows as Minecraft Bedrock.

Please try to load the Minecraft for Windows by searching it on the Start menu. Just go to Start > Search and click on Minecraft for Windows. It only shows you "Play trial"?

We understand it can be frustrating when trying to find the path of the Windows 10 edition Minecraft executable.

I recommend bringing up the start menu then doing a search for Run. Afterwards, type
%appdata% and it should show .Minecraft in a
roaming folder.

There is also the option of starting up Minecraft, on the main menu, go to mods and texture packs then open 'open texture pack'. That will open the file browser to the texture pack directory, which is a sub-directory of the .minecraft
directory.

Try the following.

From the main menu, select PLAY GAME

Select MORE OPTIONS

In there you should see the top option is enabled (ONLINE GAME), un-check/un-tick/un-select this option. If that option is enabled it will be trying to connect to Xbox Live which requires a Gold Account on the console.

Press B to go back

Select LOAD

Once the world loads, it should show a prompt for how the 2nd player can join in (May be A button or the Menu (used to be START) on the 2nd controller)

The screen should go split screen and away you go, enjoy your Minecraft gaming.

If you have elite you can download the rest of the content through the in game store, not the games marketplace on the dash. Just load up the game, go into the multiplayer menu and there should be a "store" option there. The rest is straight forward.

Are you talking about Minecraft Windows 10 version? You can try and reset the app by typing Apps and Features in Search then click on the game, then click advanced options, then in this menu you can repair and reset the app.
