My Minecraft is stuck in Demo mode as "player"

I have been playing Minecraft since i was little. But i stopped playing the game around the migration update. I kept telling myself i needed to migrate my account, but i never did.

Now recently i migrated my Mojang account to my Microsoft account and now i have to buy the game again.?

I tried everything i could to redo what i did. Before i migrated my Minecraft was running swell.

There was an issue on Mojang's end with the account migrations.

I've been in touch with Minecraft support myself and they are working to fix the problem for the players who have been affected by this bug. We'll unfortunately have to wait a few days until they finish fixing everything.

I'd recommend checking in on the Mojang Status twitter account and keeping an eye on your emails, they might complete the migrations for us, or we'll need to restart the migration process once they've finished fixing everything.

Hi KarleighSmith, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

1. Please double-check you are logging in to the same Microsoft account you used to migrate your Mojang account.

2. Make sure you are not logging in with your Mojang account. Migrated accounts will only be able to log in with your Microsoft account.

Your son will not be able to play the game if this was not bought under his account, he needs to have the license to his account as well in order for him to play. You can request a refund for the transaction under your account and purchase it again using his account this time so that he will be able to play the game too.

Basically, it is asking me to pay money even though I OWN Minecraft Bedrock on Windows.
