In order to fix this, you will need to find the Microsoft account where your Minecraft game license was purchased.

Kindly sign in to all of your Microsoft email accounts on account.microsoft.com > order history > select the date of range when you purchased your Minecraft for Windows.

From there, check if you have the Minecraft transaction. If you have found the transaction, use the same Microsoft account to log out and re-login to Microsoft Store and Minecraft Launcher to see if it works.

If you're unable to find the Minecraft game transaction, this means that the game was purchased on a different email account. Please check your other Microsoft email accounts' order history.

So i was advised by microsoft to not repurchase until i recieved my refund. Wich i recieved today and now that i can repurchase again i cant get the deal. Why wouldnt you let me biy them again on sunday instead of making me wait.

Could you please go to your account order history on https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders/ and look for the Minecraft game order if it's there and says completed or refunded?

I have tried all of those steps - no updates are available and my Windows OS is up to date.

I have also tried uninstalling the Minecraft Launcher and reinstalling, and uninstalling and reinstalling Minecraft.

I have also tried logging out of the Xbox app and the launcher and logging in again.

All other Xbox purchases and games work, the Minecraft Launcher will let me play the Java version of MC and Minecraft Dungeons but not Minecraft for Windows at all. Same error with it wanting me to sign in but I can't sign in it just takes me to the page to buy MC for Windows which I can't rebuy even if I want to because I have already bought it...

Did you try to uninstall and install Minecraft again?

Also go to Minecraft website and download the Windows 7/8 launcher. Try playing the game using it. The Windows 10 launcher is having this "play demo" bug.
