My minecraft did not update to 1.18.2

My minecraft updated but it is still stuck on 1.18.1. I have tried Uninstalling and reinstalling my minecraft. I have tried hard resetting my xbox. I tried going to manage, but it says that there are no updates available.

You don't need to do anything in this case. You'll get the update within a few days. That's always the case

We are all playing PC (owned) but we are just worried that updating to 1.18.2 may cause our world to corrupt

Could you let me know if at any point in this process did both versions have 1.18.2? If the versions are not the same, then you will not be able to play with one another. Are these updates triggering when you start the game, or have you attempted to trigger an update prior to launching the game?

You may have to contact Minecraft support for this issue. You can submit a ticket to Mojang here: Submit a request – Home and see if they can provide more clarity on how to receive the 1.18.2 update.

I tried it. Did not work. The version I'm trying is 1.18.2. The link you was also not helpful in resolving this problem. Thank you for the suggestion.
