    my minecraft account is gone after i changed the password to my microsoft account


    I tried logging into Minecraft using my Microsoft account since I had already migrated it a year ago but I didn't remember the password so I changed it. but now it thinks that this is a new account that I don't have Minecraft on yet and I can't get back into my old account. I also tried removing both accounts but it still logged me into the new one and now I can't even try to log into the old one anymore

    From what I understand it's not working because you're trying to put the microsoft account in the place you have to put a mojang, you click on back and instead of clicking on your account (which was mojang, so the space only accepts mojang accounts) you click on add new account and choose microsoft account and it will work.

    Closed account

    If you have closed the account - as in deleting it - it's gone and after 60 days after you decided to do that it's gone. Nothing is retrievable.

    You will need to create a new account to play. Unfortunately all your screenshots and videos are gone if you closed the microsoft account.

    If you closed it via this method:
    https://account.live.com/closeaccount.aspx     the account and everything with it is gone and you can not get it back.

    If you simply stopped using it please see this page to help you find your email address:

    Even if the email does not exist anymore you can still log into the microsoft account with it and if you need the password you can reset it via this page and have the email sent to another email:

    After you recover your account you can switch the emails to one that is active (but not Hotmail, Live or Outlook) via this method:
