My Microsoft Xbox account was hacked approx 2 years ago.

I have been attempting to get my Xbox account back on and off for 2 years. I have several hundred hours on the account and a few games.

I managed to get the phone number for Xbox support, in which it was seemingly helpful at first I was sent a series of questions about my account in which I had 24hrs to respond.

At that time I was advised I would get a response in 24hrs.

48hrs later I called back and got told it would be another 24hrs.

So 24hrs later I called back as I still hadn't herd anything.

I was promised a call back from a supervisor, I was promised a written response none of which has happened. During these calls I was able to verify original email addresses used for the account, I was able to verify access to the original email address, they were able to identify receipts sent to that original email address for games purchased. Clearly my account but I am told only the Microsoft Recovery Team can help.

I have had no responses, I have followed up with several emails several phone calls.

Now when I call the Xbox support line it goes through the we will no connect your call hangs for approx 1 min then drops the call.

How does anyone get back a hacked account. How is this an acceptable practice by Microsoft. It has clearly been confirm the account is mine why is no one able to actually give the account back to me? Why won't anyone respond?

I have spent money on this account I expect to get what I paid for. I haven't been unreasonable, I have not sworn at anyone just requested to speak to a supervisor as I keep getting the run around.

What do you have to do? I want my account back. I have had to create a new one in the mean time but I want my account back.
