    My Microsoft store won't update to my Xbox.


    Microsoft store not updating to my Xbox series s. It's saying I need to repurchase a game to play. Yet they won't load the store for options. Should I just fully reset my Xbox and delete everything..?

    really looking forward to seeing this update change the experience with the xbox app, microsoft store, and general apps and games install in windows.

    my biggest concern is that whatever windows did to the 120 odd gigs of my c drive, this coming fix won't restore them.

    I'm sorry to read that you are having problems with your Microsoft Store and I completely understand how this can be frustrating.

    There are a few things you can try to see if that fixes the problem:

    First of all, please try the following procedure:

    1. With the Xbox on, press the power button on the front of the console for 10 seconds until it turns off completely. Then unplug the power cable from the console and wait 30 seconds. Reconnect the power cable to your console and turn it on normally. Check if the problem persists.

    2. If the problem persists you will need to restore your Xbox while keeping your games and apps. Take in mind that the Microsoft Store is integrated into the Xbox console operating system and does not function independently like other apps.

    You can do it by going to:

    Settings > System > Console info > Reset console > Reset and keep my games & apps.

    3. Your console will be reconfigured and you will have to add your account again, so it is important that you know the emails and passwords for your accounts before proceeding. No game or app will be deleted, nor will you lose the progress of any game.

    4. The Microsoft Store should be reinstalled during this process and may potentially resolve the issue you are experiencing.
