My Microsoft/Mojang account was stolen with Minecraft on it

I have evidence of a Microsoft account creation and a purchase for Minecraft both on Sat, Jun 11, 2022 on the Gmail account I just used to make the MS account I'm typing this on just now.

Earlier this year my info across multiple online accounts was compromised, I think I may have forgotten to secure that MS account, a copy of MC Java edition is all it had on it, account was created just to buy it. I can only assume the account itself is long gone now, all details changed, but I did pay $39.95 for something that was stolen from me, so I'd like to know if there is anything I can do to recover the original account, Mojang account or a copy of Minecraft.

As I said I have emails confirming the creation of my original MS account and purchase of Minecraft Java Edition on the same day last year, as well as what I believe to be the Gmail @ used by the attacker to take over the account if it would serve any purpose in recovering what's mine.

Unfortunately the only way would be to recover your account. There is no other you will be able to get anything off it without the account.

Every detail of mine was probably changed so the recovery form is useless. Is there no way to prove I owned the game so I don't have to buy it twice? I'm sure I could find it listed on my credit card payments and I have the email to confirm its purchase as well

My account was stolen. I downloaded malware a while back and my passwords got stolen, and now when i tried to log into my account it said the account i linked my minecraft to doesn't exist. I went on NameMC to search my in-game account name up and saw a name change i never made that roughly coincides with the time i downloaded malware. The name was changed to "lizilu" and i absolutely did not do this. I was told that the transaction id (which i have) would help me in getting my account back, and mojang support told me i need to give that information to microsoft support, but i have no clue where exactly. Is it xbox support or office 365 support or something else?

The transaction id (which came from mojang i assume) would actually NOT help Microsoft in recovering your account as only mojang support can actually see said transaction id.

To clarify, did you already migrate your Minecraft account to your own Microsoft account and then the Microsoft account got taken? Or was your minecraft account (mojang account) not yet migrated to a Microsoft account and the mojang account was taken?

If it was an account that was already migrated to a Microsoft account and the Microsoft account was taken then youd have to use this account recovery form to recover the lost Microsoft account:

If your mojang account had NOT yet been migrated to a Microsoft account then youd have to continue working with mojang support to recover your account.

Note: In many cases where people believe that their accounts have been stolen, hacked, or compromised, the issue is caused by a login issue.

First, try to change the password that’s associated with your account. For example, a Microsoft account or a Mojang account. Log out of anything that you're logged into (websites, game launcher, etc.), then if you were able to change the password, try to log in with the new password. If you have an old Minecraft account that logs in with a Java profile name instead of an email, you should migrate to the newer Mojang account format. 

If you have a Mojang account, try logging in with a different email address.
