My microsoft got hacked and microsoft wont give it back.

My account got hacked I contacted microsoft and they said they cant give it back because the security of it got changed, but now I have lost 100s of pounds in games I had on it as they won't offer me a refund for all the games and said I have to rebuy them all and I lose all the progress. What can I do? I don't want to lose all my work and have to rebuy all the expensive games

If your account is already closed by Microsoft - as it looks like by your post - no, there is no way to recover it.

If your account is not closed yet, your only option is to fill the recovery form. In the article below you can get detailed information on how to fill the form:

If when you try to fill the recovery form you receive a message that your account does not exist anymore, unfortunately you will not be able to recover your account.

You also cannot transfer games - or anything at all - from one account to another. Even if you own and have access to both accounts.

If you had 2 factor authentication activated on your Microsoft account, probably the hacker had access to your other email or your phone number. Which in this case, could actually be someone close to you.

I'm really sorry about this, my friend. I had my account hacked in the past but fortunately the hacker did not change its email address and I was able to recover it before he completely took control of the account.
