My Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 won't launch and now won't reinstall after I uninstalled it

try the following

Excluding profile:

It is easy to remove a Microsoft account from Xbox One console as it is not necessary to sign in to the account. See how:

Press the Xbox  button to open the dashboard.

Select System > Settings > Account > Remove Accounts.

Select the account to be removed, then select Remove to confirm.

When finished, select Close.

Clearing the cache:

Turn off your xbox, remove the source/cable from the socket and leave it like that for 2 minutes, then you can turn it on.

adding the account:

You can add your Microsoft account to any Xbox One console. See how:

Press the Xbox  button to open the dashboard.

Select your gamerpic in the top left corner of the screen, scroll down and select Add New.

Enter the email address of the Microsoft account you want to add and select Enter.

Important Do not select Get a new account unless you want to. By selecting this option, you will create a new Microsoft account. If you've forgotten the email address associated with your Microsoft account, see Lost Account Solution.

Enter the password for the Microsoft account you want to add and select Enter.

Read the Microsoft Service Agreement and Privacy Policy and select I Agree.

Follow the steps to configure Sign-in and Security Options to add your Microsoft account to your Xbox One console.

This is on a PC, not a console. Everything else on the PC works fine. It's just the Flight Simulator that is giving me no end of grief.

1) I downloaded the game through Microsoft Store

2) Launch the game with same problem (press any key to start) agian & again

3) then close the game!

4) download Xbox (beta) from Microsoft Store

5) launch Xbox (beta)

6) launch Flight Simulator from Xbox (beta)

7) problem sloved with (press any key to start)

now looks like updating or something?

Still unable to play!

In my case, I uninstalled Xbox Game pass and Flight Simulator, install both again and run

After 5 hours (91GB download) everything was ok!

Same method worked for me. It's like it didn't recognize that I was signed in to Xbox Game Pass until I uninstalled everything, reinstalled Xbox Game Pass app, reinstalled FS 2020, then finally the "Press Any Key" problem was gone. At this point I will just
have to wait until tomorrow for my first flight because the rest of this download will take several hours.

Because "Google" and "some websites" are not Microsoft.

They could write basically anything they want. And I could for example write that "Flight Simulator 2020 will NOT release on Aug. 18th on any platform except the

Atari Lynx", but all that won't change that Microsoft only releases the Flight Simulator for PC on that day.

FS 2020 for Xbox One is still coming out at a later date.
