My Microsoft flight sim won't open, freezes, crashes, and won't download.

Okay so first and foremost, I made the mistake of verifying the integrity of game files on Steam, because I've done some extensive research and people have said that it has caused their game to crash and uninstall more than half their game.

Let me make it clear, that I have the latest version of Nvidia drivers (as of 1/10/2024 & latest version of Windows 10)

I'm stuck on the installation manager and I can't get past it. The browser freezes and doesn't respond, and then when it does I can't move my cursor without it freezing. I've deleted every file related to msfs2020 and still nothing, I've uninstalled it via Steam and browsed every file on my computer.

I'm genuinely hopeless and disappointed that it is THIS difficult to get a game working.

My PC Specs:

GPU - RTX 2060

CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 5600

2x - 970 EVO Plus 1TB

Ethernet (Fiber 1000up 1000down)

I managed to install the Amazon prime video launcher.And any other free game from the Microsoft store.I have tried to install the Xbox installer app through the Microsoft store;but that won't install either?This flight sim 2020 doesn't want to know my Pc?I have nearly all the other flight Sims running on windows 10 older games running with patches.Why can't Microsoft give me access to the game?😩

I had the same issue... I had to completely exit Flight Sim, disconnect my X52 Pro, restart flight sim, and then open Flight Sim, go to Controls, and plug in my X52. If you try to remove the X52 while Flight Sim is still running, the workaround doesn't
work.

it wont launch anyway, you can pre order but flight sim does not release until 18th august.

have you checked the amount of devices connected via family accounts too.

Ps: At the level of aircraft simulators which is recommended to me at the general level.
