My Microsoft account was locked and it won't let me back in.

My Microsoft account was locked almost 2 months ago now and I have been spending hours almost every day trying to sort it out but it seems it was all a waste of time. The support agents were all giving me different information and each one telling that the previous one had been lying to me. I was told that someone had unsuccessfully tried to login to my account several times which is why it was locked.

I filled out the forms they provided several times. Mostly with no response at all. In fact I was told to wait a further 24 hours several times, only to be told after about 3 weeks that my case was already closed. I then submitted more forms until I finally got a response. Which they just gave me a link and told me to submit a different form. Which I also got no response from. I had to submit a few before I eventually got a response and they told me they could not recover my account with the information provided, even though I provided 100% correct information. I was then told by support agents that there is nothing any of them can do and I just need to keep submitting forms. Although I don't see the point of continuously submitting forms if I have already provided all the information I can and it still won't work?

I had only really used this account for Xbox. Which is even more annoying as I have had this account for around 17 years and have probably spent thousands of pounds on games and content, which has now been taken from me through no fault of my own. I was then told the only way they could compensate me for this is if could sign into my account, which is crazy because that's the reason I need compensation to begin with. Because I cannot sign in! I even told them that I literally just paid for the yearly Xbox live subscription, just before the account was locked and they're telling me they can't even refund me for that. So not only have they taken my account from me but also the £60 I just paid for Xbox live. I just made a new account to play Xbox with and I will now have to pay £60 again which is infuriating.

This has been by far the worst customer support experience I have ever had. With no one seemingly able to offer any help. They just tell me to repeatedly waste my time submitting more forms.

Is there any way I can actually get my account back, or should I just give up and move on?
