My Microsoft account was hacked, stolen, and I want it back.

About a year ago, a hacker took my Microsoft account. They changed the email associated with it along with (I think) getting it blocked somehow. I have since then made a new Microsoft account on the same email. I want to get my old Microsoft account back, even if it means this one will be gone. I know what email the account went too, since I saw from my Gmail. Is there any way I can get my old hacked account back? Please help, thanks! It is the Microsoft account associated with my Mojang (Minecraft) account.

If you are wondering why I took about a year to try and recover it, I just wanted to take a break from all this.

Since it didn't work, I highly suggest you reach out to Microsoft Xbox Support for further escalation as they have the tools and resources to properly investigate this case. Here's how to contact them:

Chat Support:

> Visit the Xbox Support website: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/contact-us/
> Click on the "Contact Us" button in the right of the screen.
> Select the issue you need help with and click on the "Next" option.
> Sign in to your Microsoft account.
> Follow the prompts to connect to a live chat agent.

For Callback Support:

> Select Xbox One
> Select See more options then subscription changes
> Select Show Contact options
> Select Request a call from support

Once they call explain the issue and they will be able to help you. Note that these options regularly change so just keep selecting something that gives a request for a call from support as a contact option.

My account and my son's account was hacked/stolen by the same person. I contacted Xbox and they found nothing because they didn't do a through job. Now the same guy hacked my account but I was able to recover it. I have the proof and I want to report him and maybe they will do their job and catch him asap,
