My microsoft account is locked

Suddenly, my Microsoft account was locked, and when I tried to unlock it through a verification method, the only verification method that it showed me was sending a code to my phone number, so what I did was, select my region and type out my phone number. But after proceeding with the next step, it tells me that the verification method isn't working right now and recommends for me to try another verification method which is impossible because it isn't showing me any other methods. Now, I am stuck. Then I decided to go back for another day and try it again but it showed the same result "verification method isn't working right now". What should I do?
