My microsoft account is linked to the WRONG GAMERTAG

Hello Timmythedinosaur, as this forum is public viewing and unfortunately as independent consultants we do not have access there is some data and neither your account, we can not specify the actual reason or accurately check this issue of your account with Gamertag.

I would suggest setting up Xbox Live support agent.

The agent would be able to find your account by searching your Gamertag. If you can fortify your account, they'll let you know what email to use to sign into the right account.

So first I highly recommend securing your account:

• Change your passwords if you have not already
  
• Activate two factor authentication
  
• Check with friends or family who also use the device to ensure it is not their account.
  

Second, because this may be a license issue you will need to contact Mojang about your account: Submit a request – Home They can verify your migration, and your purchases.

Also try logging in at xbox.com and go to your profile to ensure that the correct gamertag is there.

unfortunatly if there are issues directly related to Microsoft accounts you have to rely on advocacy Team doing there Job, and they surely dont drop customers just like that.
