to be able to switch an account to another Microsoft Account or change gamertag etc, you will need access to the account. So the thing you want to try is to regain access to that account, if you know security settings etc that can be very helpfull in the
process of recovering it.

i tried with the latest version of ie and chrome. neither worked. i could always access the "my account" site with on my microsoft account. but since i connected the xbox with this microsoft account i can't access "my acount" anymore.

any ideas?

If you mean an enforcement issue, the only support you can get is.from enforcement.xbox.com, where, if eligible, you can appeal, depending on the nature of the issue
