My Microsoft account has been locked over for 10 months now.

So, near the end of February 2023 my account was hacked, but luckily I recovered it. While I was trying to change the information back to before it was hacked Microsoft locked my account for suspicious activity. Since then I've tried so hard to recover it but they always say "You haven't provided enough information."(using the locked account review form) or they say "unfortunately they cannot recover the account because security features are updated on the account." HOW CAN I UPDATE SECURITY IF MY ACCOUNT IS LOCKED, HOW DOES THAT MAKE SENSE or when I use the ACSR form they say wait for 24hrs after two days I get a mail saying it was a success and they gave another mail which has the link to reset password BUT I NEVER RECIEVED IT. MY TIME HAS BEEN WASTED AND MY ACCOUNT LOCKED FOR LITERALLY NO REASON EXCEPT FOR THE FACT THAT I WAS JUST TRYING TO CHANGE THE INFORMATION BACK TO NORMAL AFTER THE HACKER CHANGED IT. I've contacted live support many times, I follow what they say but the results are still the same. The only thing that hacker changed was the email and removed the phone number. I had recovered the password.

I can suggest that in cases of LOSS OF ACCESS the only solution is through the account recovery form which is the following: https://account.live.com/acsr

You must keep in mind that this is the only alternative or solution to recover an account, support cannot help with this type of case because they are not authorized, leaving the form as an option, if you cannot fill out the form for X or Y Reason then unfortunately the account cannot be recovered.

yes, they told they will send it but I never received it. yes I did check the spam folder. I received a mail from Microsoft right now 10 mins ago saying my password has reset, it wasn't me. I feel like the reset link is going somewhere else....

Two days later you received an email, you say, and then according to the email it says that it was a success and they sent you an email that apparently has the link to reset your password, right?

Have you already tried checking your spam folder?

One of my accounts has been locked for almost a month now, and Microsoft has been 0 help.
