    My Microsoft account has been hacked


    Hi

    Can anyone help and advise on my situation?

    My @live.com account has been hacked. The hacker has then changed the e-mail address to a @outlook.com account

    When I then try to log into my @live.com account I get the message “That microsoft account doesn’t exist”

    I also get the message “This e-mail is part of a reserved domain”

    I have also read that this is because the hacker has renamed the affected e-mail address into a new account so the original account will become an alias.

    Now all of the tips and advice that microsoft support offer are based on the fundamental principle that you can log onto your account to do something about it but obviously I cannot do this!

    Finally my sons xbox live gamer tag is linked to my hacked account so he cannot log onto his xbox because none of us now the password for the rogue @outlook.com account

    Can anyone out there help or send me a link where I can e-mail microsoft with this issue or phone number that actually gets me through to a human being!!

    You should definitely give Xbox Support a call to recover your account. If you think it's been hacked and you can't get your password reset they can help! 1800 4 MYXBOX.
