I'd check the sign-in activity on your account to make sure someone isn't trying to sign in with wrong credentials as I believe a certain number of unsuccessful attempts results in an account lock.

Go to you Microsoft account (click your avatar top right of the screen then select "My Microsoft account")...from there, click on "Security" and there should be a "See your sign-in activity" option.. Click that and it will list every successful and unsuccessful sign-in attempt

See this thread If you think your account has been hacked - Microsoft Community. How I wish I can do something for you to get your gamertag and purchases back. But unfortunately, we don't have ways to restore your purchased games and subscriptions. You may log on to https://account.live.com/Activity and see activity information if someone access your Microsoft account.

It actually is possible to review your account sign-in activity as explained in the following support guides:

What is the Recent activity page? - Microsoft Support

Sign in at https://account.live.com/Activity for info on all successful and unsuccessful account sign-in attempts (including your current session). This confirms which device/platform and browser/application was used, as well as the exact time/date and the IP address with an estimate location of the event.

If anything doesn’t look right and you believe there was unauthorised access to your account, refer to:

Regarding the profanity messages, if you receive a ban/suspension as a result of this (or for any other reason) and if these were sent via Xbox Live, the only option would be to submit a case review (if eligible).

Well, if that is what you think, then call Xbox Support to see if there has been some hacking activity in your account.

I think they might not allow you to be on live once they check to see if someone did hack your account.
