    I have a xbox and playstation i just got a new mic and when i plug it into the xbox the mute button does not work but when i plug it in the playstation it works and i just want to mute my mic without having to go to party chat everytime

    I mute my mic,only speak to someone when it's useful....

    When someone talks too much (voice commands,about their life,...) i mute their mics.

    But it did happen just a few times.
