    when i use another controller instead of the one i used it on in the first place, it works. What the heck is going on? How do i fix it?

    Elite Controller Mic Input Problems

    Yes like I said, tried multiple known working headsets. All work with my 2 other controllers and not my newer elite. No adapters, and config wont fix it, it's a hardware failure of the input mic jack.

    Headset and mic working fine. Turned on sytem and mute button stays on. Headset work and mic work fine but wont work when plugged into controller
    You will probably need a headset adapter to bypass the 3.5mm input which may be faulty but have a look at this Support
    article to update headset    .

    I had that problem with a Turtle Beach headset I own, I found out that that headset was made specifically for another console, so I can't use it on my Xbox One. I'd recommend you look up your headset and make sure it is compatible with your Xbox One. Hope this

    Connection issues and mic not working randomly after using Gamebar.

    One other thing to note is that my Xbox wont pic up my headset's mic / audio what so ever, so even if I'm in a party by my self, It's not registering me as speaking.
